Perfectly positioned within walking distance of the High street and the sea front, this beautifully presented, five bedroom period property would make an ideal family home. Set in a conservation area, the property boasts many original features as well as high ceilings, bay windows and well-proportioned rooms. As you step into the spacious entrance hall of the property it is immediately apparent that the layout has been well thought out for modern day living while keeping a wealth of period features such as cornicing and picture rails. The first of three reception rooms can be found to the left of the hallway, with a large window overlooking the front of the property, original ornate cornicing and an attractive brick built fireplace. From here, through double doors you will find a double glazed conservatory which in turn leads onto the rear garden. To the right, an elegant sitting room with bay window floods the room with natural light while the brick built fireplace, ornate cornicing and ceiling rose adds to the grandeur of the room. The kitchen can be found towards the rear of the property, well equipped with a comprehensive range of matching wall, drawer and base units with rolled edge work surfaces, electric double oven with gas hob and built in extractor fan over, integrated fridge and freezer, and space for a washing machine and dishwasher. A double glazed door leads to the rear garden. For casual dining the room allows for a table and chairs, alternatively, the adjoining dining room will cater for more formal functions and is an ideal place to entertain guests. A modern shower room with tiled floor, pedestal wash hand basin, low level W/c and glazed corner shower unit completes the ground floor. The first floor is accessed via a turned staircase with picture window allowing for a light and airy ascent. The spacious, split-level landing provides access to five double bedrooms, the family bathroom and the balcony. The master bedroom overlooks the front of the property via a large bay window and features ornate cornicing and picture rails. Bedroom two has dual aspect windows towards the front and rear and ornate cornicing. The remaining three bedrooms are toward the rear of the property and are all good sized doubles. The family bathroom has fully tiled walls and floor and features a white suite consisting of a bath with chrome mixer taps and shower attachment, pedestal wash hand basin, and a low level W/c. Externally the property has a walled front garden with a driveway offering parking for two vehicles. The walled rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with borders of mature shrubs and flowering plants, while a garden shed sits neatly towards the end of the garden. There is an outside tap, electricity point, side access to the front of the property and access to the boiler room. The property benefits from part double glazing and gas central heating throughout.
